HMS Victorious Arrives at Faslane

My lucky day as we have a second inbound submarine to Faslane.

This time one of our own - HMS Victorious.

Weather has now deteriorated to heavy cold wind and poor light unfortunately.

A US Navy submarine  arrived early on Monday morning bound for the Faslane Naval Base in Garelochhead.

I was lucky enough to catch her just as she arrived.

Views of Scotland

In between waiting for the arrival of another visitor to Faslane I went a drive up to Arrochar to get a few images in the lovely light and sunshine.

King's Theatre, Glasgow - Backstage Tour

I trip to Glasgow today to take a backstage tour of the King's Theatre.

The Theatre was opened in 1904 and has a great history.

Well worth going around and good to see what goes on backstage.

Well, you could say it was raining, but that would have been an understatement.

It was pouring with rain as she passed Port Glasgow on her way upriver to Glasgow.

Caledonian Isles exits Garvel Dry Dock

Another early start to catch the two Caledonian MacBrayne ferries depart the Garvel Dry Dock and transfer to the adjacent James Watt Dock.

Also very cold, but think it was worth the effort.
