Necropolis Cemetery - Glasgow

A visit to the Necropolis in Glasgow has been on my wish list for a good long while.

Planned about a week ahead, and awoke to a foggy winter morning.

Proceeded up to Glasgow and picked up my son Fraser en-route. Arrived to a bright and sunny morning and selection of images are below.

Custom House Museum - Greenock

HM Revenue and Customs identified that there was no long term requirement to have staff located in the A-Listed Custom House in Greenock, and it is now almost derelict of staff.

The museum within the building will close on 31st January this year, so popped in today to take some photographs before it is too late.

I do not know what plans are in place for this majestic and iconic building, but let's hope it is put to a worthwhile use, and that our heritage is preserved for generations to come.
