Autumn Colour - Greenock Cemetery

The Greenock cemetery at South Street is a most beautiful place to spend some time meandering through the myriad of trees and paths.

Come autumn on a sunny day the beauty is there to behold.

It is also home to rabbits, foxes, and grey squirrels.

Inverclyde Travels

Another nice sunny day today - again it could be warmer.

Quick shot of our cat - and wish he would stand still for two seconds.

Then later up to the cemetery at Greenock.

Down to the Esplanade for an ice cream, and rounded off the day at Murdieston Dam.

Cemetery - Inverkip Street, Greenock

A short visit to the old cemetery in Greenock, on Inverkip Street.

John Galt is interred there, as is Gabriel Wood.

Many ships masters, merchants, and writers from the early 1800s also share these burial grounds.

A real trip back in Greenock's proud history.

Warm Day

Very warm today - has summer arrived?

Continuing to 'play' with new camera and it's getting bedded in slow but sure.

Greenock Cemetery

Hadn't been up the cemetery for a while and it's just so beautiful on a day like today.

What a pity the local 'talent' has seen fit to destroy so much in this peaceful and tranquil place.

No respect ................

Can only be described as 'mindless'.
