The Royal Navy Type 45 Destroyer - 'HMS Defender' - returned to the river and city of her birth today as part of a weekend visit to her adopted city.
She will open to the public from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, and will also play host to organised tours for students from a number of Glasgow schools - as well as groups of Sea Cadets and university students.
Crew members are honoured to be hosted by the Lord Provost at a special reception in the City Chambers.
