Derelict Farm at Loch Thom

Through weather and personal circumstances both myself and my camera have been fairly idle of late.

But, enough is enough and today I head out in search of something - anything - to document with my camera in hand.

Light is fading fast as I've left things to the last minute, and it's not looking like I'm going to be rewarded with a sudden burst of golden light.

It's also a very bitter cold evening - so no comfort there either.

I happen across these old farm buildings - formerly Garvock's Farm.

Trudging my way through the mud I get a few shots in the bag, and I hope you enjoy them.

Reflections of My Walk

A nice late afternoon walk for Maya, so took the wee 'P & S' camera to save me lugging too much gear around.

Seeing the light later I wished I had a my DSLR and tripod, but that's the way it goes some times.

Still the exercise and walk were good for both myself and the pup.

Winter Sunset in Greenock

A few images as I chased the light both near and after sunset.

Cornaless - Loch Thom Area

The weather and light weren't great but I couldn't resist another wee run up to this area.

I did get a little sunshine late on, but it was still cold in the wind.

A couple of Canadian Geese were about but proving elusive to get some better shots.

Greenock Cut Visitor Centre

In all these years this was my first visit to the Greenock Cut Visitor Centre - but it will not be my last.

Part of Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park there are a number of walks to suit most individuals.

It was a damp day but rewarding, as the colours were stunning at times when the light was right.
