Around Greenock Today

Caught the 'Maid of Glencoul' as she departed Greenock after her winter refit.

On to the Greenock Esplanade and a few images from there are displayed below.

Finally, a few shots of the aftermath of the demolition of the Belville Street high flats earlier in the week.

Greenock - Belville Street High Flats Demolition

The Belville Street high flats in Greenock were demolished at 02:30 this morning.

On a very cold morning quite a few gathered to watch the spectacle - and they were not to be disappointed.

Right on time the first bang, then a delay, then another bang, and the flats crumbled to the ground.

Well on Their Way Down

 Almost Gone

Only the Dust and Rubble Remain
