Langbank - Winter Weather Continues

Another cold day, but I'm not missing the rain. So bright and clear with the snow crunching under my feet as I walk.

Few From the Clyde Today

Grabbed a few shots before heading to the swimming poll today.

The 'Pamakaristos' heading upriver to 'Shieldhall' with a cargo of animal feed.

Not as bright as yesterday and still bitterly cold.

Happy New Year - 2010

Well - 2010 - is now upon us and let's hope for a less gloomy year than last.

It seems futile to hope and pray for a less hostile world, but some day - peace will descend upon us - and we must continue to believe.

If not - what is our real alternative?

For me today, just a short walk with Misty, and grab one or two pics along the way.

Photographer Margaret Watkins - Hidden Lane Gallery, Glasgow

The Hidden Lane Gallery opened its doors for the first time in early November 2009.

Their first exhibition is under the general theme of 'Forgotten Women', the first being the photographic work of Canadian-born Margaret Watkins.

She was at the centre of artistic life in New York in the 1910’s & 20’s, coming to Glasgow in 1928 to visit her three maiden aunts – and remained till her death in 1969.

Photography Field Day - Paisley University

Another day trip with my night school class.

Cold start, so after a short walk we proceeded to visit the Transport Museum in Glasgow.

We were treated to an interactive presentation of Glasgow trams which was both informative and entertaining.

Another enjoyable day out in Glasgow.

East India Harbour - Greenock, Inverclyde

A few pics from this morning's run down to East India Harbour in Greenock.

Wind, cold, and showers were the order of the day - yet again.

Will we ever see a dry sunny day again? Yes, I'm sure we will.
