Spynie Palace

I have driven past this building so many times over the years.

So, today finally saw me take a trip in and worth the visit.

The custodian was very helpful and information - as per usual with 'Historic Scotland' staff - so a big thanks for his efforts.

Strathspey Heritage Railway

 
Popped in to 'Boat of Garten' on my way to Buckie and in time to catch the steam train going through, and then on her way back.

Had a word with the crew - nice guys and very helpful.

Also met a nice lady 'Kate' and quite ironic that she was on holiday and came from Houston, not far from where I live.

After a cuppa continued on my way down to Buckie.
