Yasa Unsal Sunar - Bulk Carrier

Here are a few images of the 'Yasa Unsal Sunar' as she headed out to sea.

She is seen here passing Port Glasgow on a nice autumn afternoon.

Greenock and District Model Railway Club

The Greenock and District Model Railway Club held their annual show a little earlier this year.

They also changed the venue from the Town Hall of previous years, to the Lyle Kirk in Union Street.

Personally I preferred the new location - all felt a bit more intimate and friendly - with the layouts seeming a bit closer.

I'm sure a lot of work goes on behind the scenes to ensure that the event is such a success.

I'm sure that the many visitors had an enjoyable time, went away with good memories, and no doubt now looking forward to next year.

Photo Marathon

Participated in a Photo Marathon today - first time I've tried this.

Very challenging and takes you out of your comfort zone. Made me focus a lot more and think about how best to interpret and record the various topics.

It was also more about the creativity.

I would love to do this again as today felt more of a learning curve than in delivering my best.

Joint Warrior - Final Departures From Glasgow

Today saw the last of the 'Joint Warrior' departures from Glasgow.

The light and weather wasn't at it's best - but have seen it worse.

Here are some images as they departed the Clyde and headed out to sea.

Kelburn Park - Parklee - Port Glasgow

Popped in to Kelburn Park on my home - intention was to get a few photos of the 'Question Mark' sculptures placed in the Clyde recently as a tribute to the recently deceased sculpture George Wyllie.

As the access road has been blocked to vehicle access I was left with more of a walk than anticipated, so I just took the time to get these images and will return another day to achieve my original goal.

Autumn Colour - Greenock Cemetery

The Greenock cemetery at South Street is a most beautiful place to spend some time meandering through the myriad of trees and paths.

Come autumn on a sunny day the beauty is there to behold.

It is also home to rabbits, foxes, and grey squirrels.
