Sunday's Adventures

A noon start as I headed across to Garelochhead safe in the knowledge that a Diesel locomotive was due to go through the station.

A little early on her arrival but fortunately so was I, so that worked out well.

Then up to Glasgow for a visit to the Riverside Museum and to the Glennlee Tall Ship exhibit.

A nice - fairly priced - bowl of soup aboard was very welcome and the service was friendly and efficient.

All in all, not a bad afternoon and now plenty of images to edit.

Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust - Open Day

Today was the annual 'Open Day' at the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust.

It seemed busier than last year and a good selection of vintage buses on display.

There were also vintage lorries and other classic vehicles to be seen.

Not forgetting a hurl on the old buses as we were transported from George Square to the garage and back.

Vintage Buses - Glasgow

Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust were running some bus services in the city today - at a very generous price of 'Free'.

Many thanks go to the volunteers and drivers who made this day possible.
