Tornado Steam Train - 60163

The ''Tornado' locomotive - number  60163 arrived in Glasgow Central Station this afternoon.

 This is her first time in Glasgow and their were hoards of eager enthusiasts to meet and greet her on arrival.

Grosmont Station Activity

Grosmont Station is usually quite busy and like the others on the line is very rewarding to visit.

A great value second-hand book shop and the platform shop are well worth visiting.

Pickering Station

It's difficult to have a 'favourite' station on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway - but Pickering does have the advantage of having a good little shopping area, and a market on Mondays.

NYMR Grosmont Station

Another day enjoying the North Yorkshire Moors Railway (NYMR)

Grosmont is an ideal station as there is always plenty of activity, out with the normal traffic.

There is also the workshops and shop to give added things to do.

Greenock Model Railway Exhibition

The Greenock Model Railway Club held the first day of their annual exhibition today.

It seemed very well attended and the displays were very busy with kids of all ages enjoying the fun.
