Ferries at Night

Despite the cold wind it seemed a good opportunity to get some images at the Garvel Dry Dock.

CalMac's ferries 'Isle of Arran' and 'Caledonain Isles' were being moved in to the dock for their winter maintenance work.

Sleeping Beauty - Kings Theatre, Glasgow

Oh yes we did .............

Despite the atrocious gales we had this morning  - worst I've ever seen - my son Fraser and I fulfilled our
ticket purchases and went along to see 'Sleeping Beauty' at the King's Theatre in Glasgow.

A great pantomime and all credit to the cast for keeping us fully entertained with a very enjoyable two and a half hours entertainment.

No photography permitted during the actual performance so here's a few of the Theatre interior.

And So It Begins - 2012

So here we are, the 1st of January 2012.

Went for a run in the car to blow off the cobwebs. Weather not great but could have been so much worse.

Nice to get a few images under my belt at the start of the year.

Loch Shira - Arriving in Greenock

The CalMac ferry 'Loch Shira' arrived at the James Watt Dock today and berthed in the damp and cold of the winter afternoon.

Expect she will transfer to the Garvel Dry Dock soon for her winter re-fit.
