Bascule Bridge - Barge Move with Offshore Wind Turbine Assembly

Another section destined for Methil in Fife left the River Cart.

Interesting to see these various components pass down the river. This one weighs in the region of 500 tonnes.

Barge Move - Inchinnan Bascule Bridge

This morning we witnessed another section bound for the wind farms.

The section was loaded on to a barge and the tugs 'Biter' and 'Beaver Bay' assisted in the move as it progressed down the River Cart and underneath the Inchinnan Bascule Bridge, and then on down to the River Clyde.

The tow will be taken over by another tug - the 'Osprey Fighter' - for the long sail round to Methil in Fife.

Misty - and Her Partial Walk Tonight

Poor Misty, started her walk over the field but the cows were again present tonight - and why not.

So we headed in the other direction so as not to disturb them.

But they had other ideas and seemed to want to join in with us.

Getting brave they started running towards myself and Misty so we retreated back to our own wee garden.

But these guys were determined to be part of the game.

Misty's Walk

Taking Misty for her last walk of the day wasn't quite so straightforward.

The cows were peering over the 'stile' in to our back garden.

Went back for my camera but missed the best shot, but sure you'll get the picture.

They ambled off, and Misty got her well deserved walk after showing great patience.
