Aboard the 'Glenlee' Tall Ship

I had a look around the 'Glenlee' tall ship in between filming today.

There have been many improvements since I last visited, and an added bonus is that it is now free to go aboard.

Well worth a visit in my opinion.

"One Year Later" - Day One Filming

Today was the first day of filming the short film "One Year Later".

We used numerous locations throughout Glasgow.

Cast and crew worked well - and the usual blend of professionalism and good humoured banter kept us going throughout the day.

And now we look forward to another hectic schedule tomorrow.

Joint Warrior Exercise - Vessels Return

We had some more vessels return to the Clyde today after their Joint Warrior exercise.

I caught two of the Danish vessels as they travelled upriver to Glasgow.

A Stroll Around Glasgow

A trip in to Glasgow today to have the sensor cleaned on my Canon camera.

As it takes a few hours I strolled around parts of the city.

As always I find Glasgow a friendly place and easy to engage in conversation with many of the people.

Below are a few of the images from the day.

Inchinnan Bascule Bridge

Hearing that a barge was to go up the River Cart I headed to Renfrew.

My expectations were that the Inchinnan Bascule Bridge would open to allow the barge to transit, but not all went to plan.

Unsure why, but the move was deferred.

I carried on up to Braehead to catch a shot of the Dutch tug that brought the barge to our waters.

I also took a few of the bridge itself. I've crossed this bridge so many times in my car but never stopped to get a few images, so this at least made my trip worthwhile.
