Yeoman Bank - Bulk Carrier on the Clyde

The bulk carrier 'Yeoman Bank' left Glasgow today bound for the Oban area.

I dodged the showers as best I could as they were both wintry and heavy.

The tug is the 'Strathglass' and she is on loan in the Clyde area for a few weeks.

We won't get too many opportunities to see her this far upriver so pleased to get a few images of her at work.

Glasgow Christmas Carnival

Went to Glasgow today to see the Glasgow Christmas Carnival makes it way through the Style mile.

A great atmosphere as you would expect and all the kids seemed to be having a great time.

Much music with bands and drums throughout the procession.

Santa of course made an appearance much to the delight of the children.

Another Wee Trip to Arran

After my last trip to Arran last month it was obvious I hadn't scratched the surface.

So another visit was planned and this time the car was coming on the ferry to give more flexibility.

Once again blessed with some fine sunshine and difficult to believe we are only weeks away from Christmas.

Even with the car, and getting to different locations, this island will need at least one other visit to explore a bit more and capture more images of the scenery and landscape.

Spring beckons and plans are afoot already, so watch this space.
