Over 4,200 Beacons were
lit across the UK, and worldwide to celebrate The Queen's
Diamond Jubilee tonight.
Greenock was no exception as a fair sized crowd assembled at the Lyle Hill to enjoy the occasion.
The weather was very kind and after the sun set, the beacon was lit at 22:15 after a few words were said.
