East Fortune Airshow 2012

This is my first visit to the East Fortune Airshow since 2009.

Not a lot has changed - and this is a good thing.

I felt the ground activities were quite poor, much preferred things like the 'Birds of Prey' than Cycle and Motorcycle stunts if I'm honest.

We had a call off with the Blimp - and these things are to be expected.

The 'Red Arrows' were - as always - excellent and everyone enjoys.

I missed the 'wingwalkers' and would have been great if we had the Vulcan flying at the show this year.

The weather was just plain awful - the rain came down like bullets in the very heavy showers - which put a dampener on some of the displays - very unfortunate.

As always the commentary was informative and well paced - much appreciated.
