MV Finnarrow Leaves Inchgreen Dry Dock

Previously covered in an earlier post, MV Finnarrow has now completed her repair work and this evening she exited the Inchgreen dry dock.

I understand she was originally to head straight out to sea and go to Belgium.

Instead she berthed at the repair quay, but I would expect she will depart in the next day or two.

(HMS) Duncan Heads to Portsmouth

(HMS) Duncan left her birthplace today and headed to Portsmouth.

Not yet commissioned so strictly speaking she is not an HMS yet.

Cold, and very blustery day so getting decent images not easy, but then it's nearly always a challenge.

WD Mersey is currently dredging the channel on the River Clyde off Greenock Ocean terminal.

Popped down to Greenock again as the sun set, firstly to the Lyle Hill, then on down to the Battery Park.

Cold of course, and not quite the cloud patterns I had envisaged when I set out.

Such is the life of a photographer at times.
